DESCRIPTION:ATTENTION:  PAYS PLAT FIRST NATION BAND MEMBERS \nAll Pays Plat First Nation members are invited to meetings from June 17-19 to hear how feedback to date has been incorporated in planning a draft of land to be included in Claim negotiations (a Candidate Lands Package). There will be opportunities for further input and discussion\, and an explanation of the progress made and work that remains. \nThe PPFN Aboriginal Title Claim will give us control over the use\, management\, occupation and enjoyment of land included in the Claim by adding it to our reserve. \nThere will be lunch or dinner at in-person meetings – and all meetings will include prize draws! Due to its confidential nature\, you are asked not to share information from these meetings. Information will be shared with other groups later in the process. \nPPFN members are reminded that the information shared at these sessions is important for informed claims negotiations and is confidential. \nMonday\, June 17\, 2024 \nVirtual\, online (MS Teams) \n5pm – 8pm (prize draw at end of meeting) \nFind the link through the membership portal.
